Treatments
Will Botox make me look frozen?
Not when it's dosed conservatively and placed with care. At FloAesthetics we treat only the specific muscles creating the lines you want softened, so your natural expressions stay intact. Our injectors favor a refreshed, rested look over an overdone one, and we'd rather start conservatively and add a touch-up than do too much. Individual results vary.
Does getting Botox hurt?
Most patients find Botox quick and very tolerable. We use a fine needle for a few small injections, and many people describe it as a brief pinch that's over in minutes. Let your injector know if you'd like to discuss comfort measures.
How soon will I see results from Botox?
Botox isn't instant. Most people notice their lines beginning to soften within a few days, with the full effect settling in over roughly one to two weeks. If anything looks uneven as it settles, we'll see you for an assessment. Individual results vary.
How long does Botox last?
Botox is not permanent — the effect gradually wears off over time, and most patients schedule maintenance a few times a year to keep their results consistent. At your consultation we'll map a timeline that fits your goals and how your body responds.
Is there downtime after Botox?
There's little to no downtime after Botox. Most patients return to their normal day right away, following a few simple aftercare steps we'll review — such as keeping the treated area undisturbed and staying upright for a few hours. We give you personalized guidance at your visit.
How much does Botox cost at FloAesthetics?
Your cost depends on your personalized plan, which we review at your consultation so you know the price before any treatment begins. We accept Allē rewards on eligible Botox treatments, and offer financing through Cherry and Klarna. (Pricing shared at your consultation.)
What's the difference between Botox and dermal filler?
Botox relaxes the muscles that crease your skin when you move, softening lines like the frown '11s' and crow's feet. Dermal filler does the opposite job — it adds back volume that's been lost, smoothing folds and refining areas like the lips, cheeks, and jawline. Many patients benefit from a thoughtful combination, and at your consultation we'll recommend whichever actually fits your goal.
Will dermal filler make my lips or face look overdone?
Not the way we practice. At FloAesthetics we place filler conservatively and treat the face in proportion, building slowly so the result reads as balanced and natural rather than 'done.' Because we use hyaluronic acid fillers, the result can also be adjusted or dissolved if needed. Individual results vary.
Are dermal fillers reversible?
The hyaluronic acid (HA) fillers we use — Juvederm, RHA, and Restylane — can be dissolved with an enzyme if you ever want them adjusted or removed, which is one reason we favor them. Your provider will review your options at your consultation.
How long do dermal fillers last?
Filler isn't permanent — your body gradually metabolizes it over time, and how long it lasts depends on the product and the area treated. Most patients maintain their results with periodic touch-ups on a cadence we plan together at your visit.
What's the difference between filler and a biostimulator like Sculptra?
Filler adds volume directly and you see the change right away. A biostimulator such as Sculptra or Radiesse instead prompts your body to rebuild its own collagen, so the improvement is gradual and comes from your own tissue over a series of months. Biostimulators suit patients who want overall skin quality and structure rather than an immediate, single-area change.
What is PRF or EzGel?
PRF (platelet-rich fibrin) and EzGel are regenerative treatments made from a small sample of your own blood, prepared in-office to concentrate your natural growth factors. Because they come from you, there's nothing synthetic involved. Your provider will explain whether PRF fits your goals at your consultation.
How soon will I see results from a biostimulator?
Biostimulators work gradually. Rather than an immediate change, results build as your collagen rebuilds over the weeks and months after your sessions, which is why they're typically done as a planned series. We set honest expectations about the timeline up front. Individual results vary.
What does a BBL photofacial treat?
BBL (BroadBand Light) photofacials target brown spots, freckling, sun damage, redness, and uneven skin tone, helping the complexion look clearer and more even. A separate Forever Clear BBL protocol is aimed at acne-prone skin. Treatments are customized to your skin and usually done as a short series. Individual results vary.
Is there downtime after a BBL photofacial?
BBL is a low-downtime treatment. Mild redness or warmth afterward is normal, and brown spots may look darker for a few days before flaking away. Most people return to their routine quickly with good sun protection, which we'll review. Individual results vary.
What is Moxi and who is it for?
Moxi is a gentle, low-downtime fractional laser that refreshes tone and texture and addresses early sun damage and dullness. Because it's suitable for a wide range of skin types and easy to fit into life, it's a popular first laser and a simple maintenance step, often paired with BBL. Your esthetician will confirm it's right for your skin. Individual results vary.
How many laser hair removal sessions will I need?
Because hair grows in cycles, laser hair removal is done as a planned series spaced over time rather than in a single visit. The number of sessions varies by area, hair type, and skin type, so your provider will outline a realistic plan for you at your consultation. Individual results vary.
Does laser hair removal work for everyone?
Candidacy depends on your hair color and skin type, because some lasers respond better to certain combinations than others. The honest answer is that we assess your hair and skin first and tell you what to realistically expect rather than promising a universal result. Individual results vary.
Do you offer medical weight loss?
Yes. We offer provider-supervised GLP-1 weight management. Whether it's appropriate for you, and all specifics, are determined during a medical consultation and evaluation.
How does provider-supervised GLP-1 weight management work?
Our medical weight-loss program is a physician-supervised approach to GLP-1 weight management, which works with your body's own appetite-regulating signals as part of a provider-supervised plan. What makes it 'medical' is the care around it: a consultation, appropriate labs, and ongoing follow-up from a nurse practitioner with internal-medicine experience. Whether it's appropriate for you, and all specifics, are determined clinically at your consultation.
Is medical weight loss right for me?
The honest answer is that it depends on your health history and goals, which is why the program starts with a consultation and appropriate lab work rather than a same-day prescription. Your provider reviews whether a GLP-1 plan is a safe, sensible fit and tells you directly. It's best suited to people who want supervised, sustainable support rather than an overnight fix.
What are signs I might benefit from hormone therapy?
Common reasons patients ask about hormone therapy include persistent fatigue, sleep changes, mood shifts, and low libido — often while being told their routine labs look 'normal.' Hormone replacement therapy may help address symptoms related to hormonal change. The right next step is a consultation and appropriate labs so a provider can look at your full picture, not a checklist.
How does hormone replacement therapy start at FloAesthetics?
It starts with listening and labs. Your provider takes time with your symptoms, history, and goals, then orders appropriate lab work so any plan is based on your individual results rather than assumptions. From there they build an individualized plan and follow up over time. Specific therapies are determined clinically at your consultation.
What's the difference between a medical-grade facial and a regular facial?
A medical-grade facial is designed and performed by a licensed esthetician in a medical setting using clinical-strength products and protocols, and can be coordinated with treatments like microneedling, peels, laser, and your injectable plan. A spa facial is primarily relaxation. Both feel great — but medical-grade treatments are built to actually move your skin's health over a planned series.
Does microneedling hurt, and is there downtime?
Microneedling is generally well tolerated, and we can use a topical numbing product for comfort. Afterward, some redness and a warm, tight feeling for a day or two is normal — a bit like a mild sunburn — and your esthetician will give you simple aftercare and sun-protection guidance. Downtime is usually short. Individual results vary.
What is XERF?
XERF is a non-surgical radiofrequency (RF) skin-tightening treatment. It gently warms the deeper layers of the skin to stimulate your body's own collagen and elastin, which lifts and firms areas of mild-to-moderate laxity over time. It's a comfortable, in-office treatment with a gradual, natural-looking result — not a facelift, and not a substitute for surgery.
Is XERF a facelift?
No. XERF is a non-surgical radiofrequency treatment, not surgery. It works through soft-tissue coagulation to gently firm and tighten skin and is not a substitute for a surgical facelift. Results are gradual and subtle, and individual results vary.
Does XERF hurt, and is there downtime?
Most patients describe XERF as a warming sensation during treatment, and it's generally well tolerated. Downtime is typically minimal. Your provider will review exactly what to expect at your consultation. Individual results vary.
When will I see results from XERF?
Because XERF works by prompting your skin's own response over time, firming develops gradually over the weeks to months after treatment rather than immediately, and a series may be recommended. We set honest expectations up front. Individual results vary.
Am I a candidate for XERF?
XERF may suit people with mild-to-moderate skin laxity who want a non-surgical option. It isn't right for everyone — pregnancy, certain implanted electronic or metal devices, or significant laxity that's better addressed surgically may rule it out — so candidacy is always determined at a consultation.
What is Contour TRL?
Contour TRL (Tunable Resurfacing Laser) is Sciton's Erbium ablative resurfacing laser. It resurfaces the skin to address wrinkles, sun damage, scars, texture, and uneven pigment, with a tunable depth your provider customizes to your skin. At FloAesthetics it's offered across three treatment areas — Full Face, Peri-Oral, and Peri-Ocular.
How much downtime does Contour TRL need?
Downtime depends on the treatment area and depth: a full-face treatment is typically about 7–14 days of redness, swelling, and peeling as the skin renews, while peri-oral or peri-ocular areas are usually about 5–10 days. Your provider reviews the specifics and aftercare with you at your consultation.
What does Contour TRL cost at FloAesthetics?
Contour TRL pricing is provided at consultation, because it depends on the treatment area (Full Face, Peri-Oral, or Peri-Ocular) and the depth of resurfacing that's right for your skin and goals. Book a consultation and we'll give you a clear, personalized quote.
