Contour TRL (Tunable Resurfacing Laser) is Sciton's Erbium ablative resurfacing laser. It precisely removes the outermost damaged layers of skin and prompts fresh, more even skin to regenerate — addressing fine lines and wrinkles, sun damage, scars, rough texture, and uneven pigment. Because the depth is tunable, your provider customizes the treatment to your skin and your goals, from a lighter refresh to deeper resurfacing. Contour TRL is offered across three treatment areas within the same menu — Full Face, Peri-Oral (around the mouth), and Peri-Ocular (around the eyes) — chosen at your consultation based on your concerns. It's a stronger resurfacing treatment with real downtime, so candidacy and expectations are reviewed carefully before you book.

What to expect

Contour TRL is a customized resurfacing treatment, and we plan it carefully with you first. The path:

   We assess your skin, concerns, and history, choose the right treatment area (Full Face, Peri-Oral, or Peri-Ocular) and depth, and set honest expectations — including downtime.

   Treatment

   After numbing and skin prep, your provider passes the Contour TRL handpiece over the treatment area to the planned depth.

   Downtime & healing

   Expect redness, swelling, and peeling as the skin renews — typically about 7–14 days for a full-face treatment and 5–10 days for peri-oral or peri-ocular areas. You'll follow simple aftercare and sun protection closely.

   Results timeline

   Skin looks fresher and smoother as it heals over the following weeks, with continued improvement as new collagen forms. Individual results vary.
